Man, this is great. Those extremely clear and nicely contrasted ashen stripes on the wood remind me of white tigers. I'm really digging the way the flames are licking the grill, and the light they cast on it. I find the colours extremely interesting, (in a good way).

Did you use a flash or some other source of light? It really adds to the tiger strip pattern, and it even adds to the composition by spreading the subtle greys, greens and blues throughout the shot (especially on the left hand side of the grill) instead of having them remain solely on the ashen wood.

A few questions...

Was there much post production that went into this?

Don't get me wrong, the border looks great but did you spend long experimenting with bordersr?

I'd be interested to see what effects alternate borders would have on the image.
